The Torridon Giants Trek

Torridon Mountain on a sunny day reflecting in loch.

Introduction to The Torridon Giants Trek

The Torridon Giants trekking holiday lets you experience this wild and remote area of North West Scotland from sea level to the highest summits! Guided walking and scrambling on Beinn Allign, Liathach and Beinn Eighe gives you the opportunity to summit 6 munros in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK. However, since this area can offer even more than these outstanding mountains, we will combine these 3 big days of walking with 2 gentle days of exploring the local area. The gentle days include low level trekking, a visit to The Whistle Stop Café and a Sea Tour by boat to give you the opportunity to relax and recover while ensuring you still have the chance to immerse yourself fully in this special place.

Is This Trail Right for Me?
The Torridon Giants Trek is an excellent introduction to scrambling and mountaineering in Scotland. The three “Giants” days are demanding and tiring walks, so a reasonable level of fitness will be required. However, since there are gentler days included within the week you will have chance to relax and recover in between the big days of walking. It is designed to be achievable by someone who is of a reasonable level fitness and ready to push themselves, therefore we would recommend you have at least completed a long distance trek before, and ideally done some mountain walking before. This trek is also an excellent opportunity for the “Munro Baggers” to add 6 munros to their collection over a timeframe that will give you the chance to really enjoy them in the way they deserve to be.
